She looks a little familiar in this, and a little familiar in that, but Michele Maika is all kinds of familiar in her role as Nadine DeMarco in NYPD Blue in 1998-1999. Playing Rick Schroder’s first girlfriend on the series, she gets busy with the Ricker and gets naked. It’s a primetime network show, so the nudity is fairly innocent—precisely placed arms, a leg thrown here, a tight camera angle. But there is a whole bunch of skin, and some lovely curves (Mr. Skin is not referring to Rick’s naked ass). Aside from that, she’s popped up in numerous other primetime programs, usually in one-episode guest roles, including Midnight Caller; Beverly Hills, 90210; one of Rachel’s “princess” cohorts in Friends; Seinfeld; Touched by an Angel; The Pretender; Step by Step; The King of Queens; Love Boat: The Next Wave; Clerks; Curb Your Enthusiasm; and Silicon Valley. On the big screen, you’ve seen her in Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator (2012) as Aladeen’s mom, and in the earlier flicks Tammy and the T-Rex (1994) as the character Michelle with Denise Richards, as a hotel concierge in 3 Strikes (2000) with Faizon Love, and Annette in Starlight: A Musical Movie (1988). And speaking of musicals, magnificent Michele is also a stage actress, and played the infamous Eponine in Les Misérables on Broadway in 1991-1992. After hanging up her acting shingle, she put one out as a psychotherapist who practices in Los Angeles—while also still popping up at the Hollywood Bowl or elsewhere to give a quick performance.
